Women's Soccer Takes Down Glendale to Open Season

GLENDALE, CA (8/26/22)-- In the first game of the fall 22 - 23 season for the IVC athletic department, Women's Soccer earned a win taking down Glendale College on the road.  

Leading the way for Imperial Valley College was forward Caroline Plunkett. Plunkett put IVC on the board twice early in the match. Scoring once in the 4th minute of play and again only two minutes later, in the 6th minute of competition. The first goal was assisted by Lesley Sandoval while Alexa Campos earned her first assist of the season on Plunkett's second goal. IVC walked into half time up 2-0. Glendale scored just once in the second half and the score would end 2-1 in favor of IVC.

IVC Women's Soccer Team's next game is on the road at College of the Desert on Tuesday August 30th. 

Women's Soccer starts PCAC conference play on September 16th on the road at San Diego Miramar.
